Dear friends at Caring Cancer Trust,

I am writing to thank you for an absolutely fantastic week in France.
It’s such a privilege to be a part of your Charity and I have the utmost respect for you and your team. The opportunities you provide for young people like me who are living with or have a history of cancer leave such a lasting imprint that the memories made will remain with us all for many years to come.

In addition to this, I appreciate that those wonderful experiences do not come cheaply. I therefore enclose a contribution toward the continued prosperity of Caring Cancer Trust and its Kids2Go programme.

Kind regards,
JD and family.

Dear Ian and everyone at Caring Cancer Trust,

I am truly grateful from the bottom of my heart that you have invited me not only once, but twice, on one of your amazing trips. It has really changed my life. Meeting other children like myself, and being able to share our experiences has changed my perspective on life. Before these trips I thought I was the only person in the world who had fought cancer and you have changed that. I have met some incredible people that I shall remain friends with for life.

Ian, I don’t think you know what a great man you are for bringing us children together and making these trips so magical. I shall be forever in your debt for bringing me back a second time. You are an inspiration that so many of us look up to, and none of this would have been possible without you and the Caring Cancer Trust.

This time around I have made further friendships and strengthened those I already made. All the children and adults are amazing and have made the trip worthwhile. Every individual has shone through for me and I know they have bright futures ahead of them.

My experience is something I will never forget and I will carry this with me for the rest of my life. You have changed my life and I am thankful for your generosity. Right this moment I feel like the luckiest person alive and although the Trust is unable to take me again, I will be thinking of you all throughout my future and remembering the great times I have had with you. The Caring Cancer Trust has made such an impact on me that you will have a place within my heart forever.

I enclose a contribution that I have raised to help make your next trip possible.
I hope you will carry on doing what you do for years to come. If you ever need a volunteer, I’m your girl! I wish you all a long and happy future. I’ll be seeing you!

Yours sincerely,
MN.

Dear Friends,

I wanted to say thank you so much for the experience of going skiing. I really thought it was amazing, and have no idea how to explain to you how much I appreciated it except through a letter.

Going skiing has now officially become the top week of my life. It has really boosted my self-confidence, making me much happier to try out new things.

I was really nervous before the trip of going away from family, but now since the trip my independence has grown and I am much happier to spend time away from familiar surroundings.

Thank you again.
